A 7-bedroom residential property, with a staggering annual electricity usage of 21,000 kWh, approached ITC Solar Renewables for a customised solar energy solution to help reduce their energy costs and environmental footprint. The client’s estate includes a main house, a detached garage, and a barn, providing several roof spaces ideal for solar installation. The customer sought a high-efficiency solar system, designed to meet their energy needs while maintaining aesthetic appeal and utilizing premium technology.
Customer Requirements
- Garage: A mounted solar system to be placed on the east-facing roof.
- House: An integrated solar system to be installed on the south-facing roof.
- Barn: A mounted solar system to be placed on the south-facing roof.
- Solar panels should be glass-glass panels where possible, ensuring increased durability, enhanced performance, and a longer lifespan compared to traditional panels.
- The panels must be all-black, matching the sleek aesthetic of the property and blending into the rooflines.
- The customer prioritized high-yield panels, focusing on maximum energy generation to meet their significant energy consumption needs.
Proposed Solution
To meet these requirements, ITC Solar Renewables designed a three-phase solar PV system using:

- 6 × SolaX Power Triple Power T-BAT H 5.8


The system’s design is to be completed in three stages with stage one currently undergoing and two and three commencing in the new year.
